Refund Policy

We want WorksheetWizard to be worth paying for. This policy explains our 7-day refund window, how to request a refund, what happens to your account afterwards, and the rights you have under Australian law.

The short version

Try WorksheetWizard free for 7 days before you pay anything. If you subscribe and decide within 7 days of your first payment that it is not right for your family, email us and we will refund that payment.

We would rather give you your money back than have you stay on a plan you are not using.

Our 7-day refund window

  • The window applies to the first payment on a new subscription, and runs for 7 days from the date of that payment.
  • It applies to both monthly and yearly plans.
  • You do not need to give a reason. If you tell us what did not work, it helps us improve, but it is not a condition of the refund.
  • The window covers your first payment. Later renewal payments are not automatically covered, though the situations below and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.

Cancelling is not the same as refunding

Cancelling stops your subscription from renewing, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can cancel yourself at any time from the billing portal in your account settings.

A refund returns money you have already paid, and access ends immediately. If you simply do not want to be charged again, cancelling is usually the better option because you keep the time you have paid for.

How to request a refund

  • Email us at the address at the bottom of this page from the email address on your WorksheetWizard account.
  • Tell us that you would like a refund. You do not need to explain why.
  • We will confirm the account and the payment, then process the refund.
  • We aim to action refund requests within 2 business days of receiving them.
  • Once processed, the money is returned to your original payment method through Stripe. Your bank or card provider usually takes a further 5 to 10 business days to show it.

What happens to your account after a refund

  • Your subscription is cancelled at the same time as the refund, and worksheet generation stops immediately.
  • You can still sign in.
  • Worksheets you have already generated, your child profiles, and all saved progress stay in your account.
  • If you subscribe again later, your history and progress are still there, so your child picks up where they left off.

Situations where we will always look after you

  • You were charged after cancelling.
  • You were charged twice for the same period.
  • A technical fault on our side stopped you from generating worksheets for a meaningful part of your billing period.
  • You were charged an amount that does not match the plan you selected.

In these cases contact us regardless of how long ago the payment was made, and we will put it right.

Where a refund may not apply

  • Requests made more than 7 days after the first payment, unless one of the situations above applies or the Australian Consumer Law gives you a remedy.
  • Accounts closed for a serious or repeated breach of our Terms of Service, such as sharing an account commercially or attempting to extract our question content in bulk.
  • Referral credits and other promotional credits, which have no cash value and are not refundable.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

This policy sits on top of your legal rights, and does not replace them. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that services are provided with due care and skill and are reasonably fit for purpose.

If there is a major problem with the service, you may be entitled to cancel and receive a refund, or to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

Card disputes

If you think something has gone wrong with a charge, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. We can almost always resolve it faster directly, and a dispute can lock the payment while it is investigated.
